How to look after your flower tote
Protect tote from water on stems
The best way to keep your tote looking its best is to dry stems before putting them in.
If it does get damp, leave to dry flat. This will help to reduce water marks and damp smells.
Spot Clean first
Use a barely damp cloth and a tiny amount of mild soap on any spots, then leave it to air dry naturally. Avoid scrubbing the fabric, as it can roughen the weave.
If Spot Clean is not enough…
Sometimes things do get messy. If spot cleaning wasn’t enough, you can try a gentle machine wash on cold or, ideally, hand wash with a gentle detergent. Please note that this should not be done too regularly as the structure, handles and ties will not like it.
Please not tumbledry. Reshape and dry flat.
Handle with love
These bags are made by hand, one at a time. They’re built to last, but they’re not invincible. Overfilling, dragging on rough surfaces, leaving in damp conditions will shorten their life. Treat it as you would any quality textile piece.
